to Stratford Scribes, a creative writing group in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire.

Have you ever thought about writing?

Stratford Scribes is a writers’ group led by Cathy Whittaker, a former Warwick Poet Laureate (2008 – 2009) whose work has been published widely. She has taught Creative Writing at Warwick University and Stratford-upon-Avon College and currently teaches creative writing, memoir and poetry at The Percival Guildhouse, Rugby.

Our members range in experience from enthusiastic amateur to published author.

We meet on Wednesdays 10.45 am -12.45 pm at the Stratford-upon-Avon Methodist Church, Old Town, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6BG.

We have a great programme covering all facets of writing for just £90 per ten-week term. Contact us if you are interested and would like more information.
